Police in Marin County are investigating after antisemitic graffiti was posted at a school in San Anselmo, the Central Marin Police Authority said Sunday.
On Saturday at about 8:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of antisemitic images and writing on the asphalt at Brookside Elementary School, the department said.
Police photographed and documented the evidence and are investigating it as a hate crime. Officers were unable to remove the vandalism but the school was able to do on Saturday night after the report.
No suspects have been identified.
Police believe the crime happened sometime between the end of the school day on Friday and 8:30 p.m. Saturday.
